Poem by JFE

When I was a little girl

My father told me about the world

He peered through the window of it with me

And taught me the good and the bad.

I used to be naughty and made my father angry.

He is just unlike the other fathers

He used patience instead of violence

To lead me to the right way

My father's likes a teacher

teaching me the theories of life.

He's also like a farming cow

Works hard to take care of me

But never thinks of repays from me.

So, what does he get?

Wrinkles on his face

And his tiring muscles ache.

But he never ever makes a complaint.

My father guides me through pain and sorrow

And gives me a better tomorrow

He helps me to walk out from the darkness

And brings me happiness

With my father by my side

I am able to fly.

How much I appreciate my father

He probably may not be the best man to others

But certainly he is the greatest father to me.
